How color-theory Works
color-theory is a skill that runs entirely within your AI coding tool (Amp, Claude Code, Cursor, OpenCode, Windsurf, or Gemini CLI). It consists of markdown reference files and a CLI script (color-tool) installed locally on your machine. When you invoke /color-theory, the contents are processed locally by your AI tool. We have no server, no API, and no connection to your coding sessions. The installed files are static and do not phone home, track usage, or transmit any data to us.
Third-Party Services
When you use /color-theory, your code is processed by your chosen AI coding tool:
- Amp — subject to Amp's Privacy Policy
- Claude Code — subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy
- Cursor — subject to Cursor's Privacy Policy
- OpenCode — subject to OpenCode's Privacy Policy
- Windsurf — subject to Windsurf's Privacy Policy

Data Retention
Installation logs (user agent and timestamp only) are retained indefinitely for analytics purposes. We do not retain any other data because we do not collect any other data.
Data Security
Installation logs are stored in a secure database with access limited to authorized personnel. Since we do not collect personal information or code, there is minimal data at risk.
Children's Privacy
